So you decided to take the next challenge, get as fit as you have ever been using P90X. You are starting to do some research, looking around to buy P90X cheap, and be on your way to achieving maximum fitness. Whether you are looking to lose some extra pounds, or just bulk up in muscle, P90X is the program that will give you the results you are looking for if followed right.

But in order to take advantage of it, you are going to need the right tools for the job, just as with everything else. If you have already found and purchased P90X cheap, then why you are waiting for your 12 DVD’s to arrive, you are going to have to purchase the following things in order to perform the workouts.

You are going to need a pullup/chin-up bar. These can be purchased online from various stores. You can also get them from walmart if you are looking to save some cash. These days they have pull-bar that can mount right on your doorway, without having to drill holes and such.

You are also going to need to get some dumbbells. I recommend getting a variety of dumbbell weights. Such as 10lbs, 15,20, and such all the way up to 50’s. You have to remember you are going to be getting stronger each week, and you also will be tracking how many reps you are going to be doing of each weight.

The lower weights are going to come in handy when you are doing shoulders and triceps, while the heavier ones will be handy when you are doing some of the chest and bicep workout routines.

You are also going to need to get a yoga mat. This is essential, especially when you are going to be doing the ab ripper. Having a good mat to do ab and yoga exercises on will reduce the risk of damaging back muscles along with other muscles.

Yoga blocks are also going to help, especially during the Yoga-X workout routine. Helping you get into various positions without putting too much strain on the body.

Push up bars will help enhance the range of your push-ups working more muscles. Though push-up bars are not necessary to complete the P90X workouts, they definitely help. If you want to take it a step further, you can use the perfect push-up to achieve even better results when using the P90X program.

Resistance bands are another workout tool that you do not necessarily need, but will help to increase muscle confusion, and to those that are not yet cooridinated enough muscle wise to be using dumbbells for the workouts, great for the beginner that is just starting to get into shape.
