I will get into <strong>P90X Kenpo</strong> in further detail on a future post, just wanted to use that as an example of what <strong>cardio boxing</strong> is all about. Though this is not just boxing, but also kicks and other movements. <span id="more-32"></span>This is more known as cardio-boxing, and it definitely gets you into shape because you are going to be burning about 400-600 calories an hour.</p>
<p>Most of the boxing that are taught in these videos and classes, is more like shadow boxing, or punching and defending against an imaginary opponent. You are not hitting a speed bag or punching bag when you are participating in a cardio boxing class, that is for those that are actually training for a boxing match.</p>
<p>Though cardio boxing can also benefit those boxers that are training for a boxing match. Though they may want to enhance the tempo of the moves a little bit faster than those on the videos, unless the videos are designed specifically for those that are training for a fight.</p>
<p>Not only will <strong>cardio boxing</strong> get you into great shape, there are tons of other benefits that you will get from it. Some of these are improved hand and eye coordination, hand and leg speed, more flexible muscles, better natural instincts, and if you should ever have to defend yourself, you are going to know how to throw a punch and not hurt yourself trying.</p>
<p>It has only been a number of years since cardio boxing has been brought in to the mainstream line of workouts. <p>Yoga blocks are also going to help, especially during the Yoga-X workout routine. Helping you get into various positions without putting too much strain on the body.</p>
<p>Push up bars will help enhance the range of your push-ups working more muscles. Though push-up bars are not necessary to complete the P90X workouts, they definitely help. If you want to take it a step further, you can use the perfect push-up to achieve even better results when using the <strong>P90X program</strong>.</p>

But as with most workout programs that are on the market, mostly all of them will recommend some kind of diet to go along with the workout routine.<span id="more-19"></span> <strong>P90X</strong> is no different, and they also recommend a particular diet program, that if you follow to the “T”, and keep doing the workouts for the full 90 days, you are going to achieve amazing results.</p>
<p>If you are like me and know a little about what kinds of foods to eat, you can still be successful and achieve above average results when using the P90X workout program. Let me cover some of the essentials that you are going to have to do though to be able to achieve great results.</p>
<p>The P90X workouts are tough, every single one of them, and they are all about an hour long too. When you are putting your muscles to work for that period of a time, you are going to need a recovery drink of some kind, one particularly that is high in protein.</p>
<p>If you are just working out and not taking in any kind of protein after the workout, your muscles are going to take longer to recover and you will not be building the maximum amount of muscle to achieve top fitness. <p>When you purchased the P90X program, you will get a huge PDF diet plan, that will give you suggestions of what you need to be eating throughout the months of training. Some months will call for more carbs than others and some will call for more protein than others.</p>

It has been criticized by many, and the results that the people got from participating in the program for the full 90 days were nothing less than outstanding.<span id="more-15"></span></p>
<p>Whether you are looking to <strong>lose weight or build muscle</strong>, P90x is definitely a great program to try. But why exactly has the <strong>P90X workout program</strong> been so successful? The answer to this question in my opinion is that it utilizes muscle confusion.</p>
<p>For those of you that do not know what muscle confusion is, let me try to explain it as simply as I can. If you are someone that never works out, and then one day decided to go to the gym and hit the iron for about an hour, the next day your muscles are going to be really sore.</p>
<p>Now your muscles are going to recover and if you keep doing the same old reps and workouts, eventually your body is going to get used to it and the muscle soreness is going to decrease.</p>
<p>Now with the P90x program, you will be doing a total of 12 different workouts within the 90 days, all of them targeting different muscle groups. For the first month for example, you will be doing 5-6 of these workouts, and then as soon as your body is beginning to adapt to the workouts and the muscle movements, some of the workouts change drastically.</p>
<p>Not only that you have the ability to intensify the workouts if you choose.  This could be taking shorter breaks between workout sets. The standard rest time is about 30 seconds, for the beginner though, you may need to hit pause on the dvd for a minute or two while you gather your breath, there is nothing wrong with doing that.</p>
<p>For example one week you may use the bands for your shoulders and arms, while another week you may be using the free weights. Another reason that muscle confusion is good and beneficial, is because you are not going to be doing the same thing over and over again.</p>
<p>It’s hard to stay motivated if you are doing the same thing every single week in and week out. So with that being said, muscle confusion is the main reason that P90X delivers better results than any other workout program that is out there on the market today. Even after you finish the program, if you still want to stay in the shape of your life, you can just repeat the program, as your muscles will not be able to adapt in a months time, and you will keep getting outstanding results when using P90X.</p>
